Protecting images online have been a debate since the dawn of the internet. When your image or photos are shown online, there seems to be no way to prevent people from copying it.
To me, the best way to protect your image is still to watermark it. Putting a big URL across your picture makes it almost impossible for anyone to reuse it, without referring back to you.
There are several softwares that can watermark your images for you. Photoshop, GIMP or even MS Paint.
If you really have none of those consider some web-based watermarking services below. Most of these websites allows you to upload images to be watermarked, customize the watermark text and then download the updated images.
1. WatermarkTool

2. PicMarkr

The site actually looks a little like Flickr. And other than the images from your hard drive, you can also upload images from Flickr, Facebook and Picasa to be watermarked.
3. WaterMark.ws
