I wonder if this is another move from eBay to encourage more people to sell as many deemed eBay no longer the land of milk and honey. Those who feel controlled and dissatisfied by eBay seller’s restrictions or policies, have resort to stop selling on eBay, moving to other channels.

eBay had a reduced price listing last month for eBay.com and result were reported as not as expected.
