8 Tips To Boost Sales For The Holiday / Christmas Season Immediately

Ads:

October came and went. October had been a busy month on eBay as buyers start to buy for Christmas. I hope you had a great time raking in the sales too!

You can boost up you eBay sales by putting in some more thoughts on your listings. Most people are starting to look whether the particular items are suitable as a gift for the coming Christmas. You can help buyers make decisions quickly and make them feel worthy to buy from you.

Take all these tips for boosting your eBay sales for the holiday season, especially if you are thinking to profit on eBay within this two months.

1. Suggest gift giving in your listing and put in some great examples, like “will make great gift for crafters” or “suitable for kids between 6-12″.

2. Offer wrapping services. This saves your buyers time to package them again when they arrives.

3. Offer to deliver the parcel to the gift-receiver on your buyer’s behalf.

4. Most buyers would prefer expedited shipping so that presents arrive on time. Make sure you offer that as part of the holiday season listing promotion too.

5. Offer greeting cards services together with wrapping services, indicating the parcel is from your buyer. (And you can make this a chance to promote your business tactfully)

6. If you like you can offer return and refunds services in case the recipient does not like the item, would you be willing to exchange it for them? or refund them? Make it clear in your terms and conditions.

7. Make sure you stock enough to cater for this holiday shopping rush. You don’t want to find that your supplier ran out of stocks too just after someone paid for the items.

8. Remember to let your buyers know the cut off date in shipping. Probably latest by December 20 or earlier depending on your location and recipient’s. Make sure you check out from the post office too.

Sales kind of slow down for now. I’d expect sales to pick up again in the middle of November and get busy again. I find that the tips above strengthen the relationships between me and my buyers too. Perhaps gift giving in itself, is always a warm and cheerful gestures, to the giver and the receiver.
