how to sell online

Hi, thanks for dropping by. I’m Jenny, i’m the owner of this blog and CraftyCabin.com!

From Tragedy To Triumph!

Here’s a little bit about my story. I formerly worked as an Senior IT Consultant in a leading IT company in the country. I was out of job at the peak of my career due to a brain surgery in 2003 which left me with permanent facial paralysis. I was only 20 something then.

This changes in me is not easy. I am unable to find a job due to my self-esteem. One day, while chatting with a friend on MSN, he suggested I take a look on Ebay. And that’s how i got started online and worked myself to being an Ebay Powerseller in 2005.

After 3 years into Ebay and being a Powerseller, I begin to ask myself…

“What’s Next?”

With the ever changing Ebay business policies i’m starting to feel something is missing. It seems like everytime i’m beginning to get more sales, they increase the fees or restrict this and that.

How Can I Really Profit More?

Sure, it’s good when they tighten the policies, you get some and you lost some. Yet I feel that i’m not really being in control of my business. I start to venture out from Ebay, have my own Ecommerce site and blog, and i feel much more in control, that’s when CraftyCabin was born.

No, i’m not saying that you shouldn’t sell on eBay or other online auction sites. They are great, really, especially to generate traffics.

But you can always channel out your online presence and not limit to just one website.

I learnt a very important thing – you don’t have to be controlled by anyone. You are in business and it’s your business!

The Purpose

I have been blessed enough to experience some financial success online. From knowing nothing to experiencing selling on Ebay to my own Ecommerce and blog site.

And on 2007, i created this blog to share with you tips on how to sell on Ebay. Today it has expanded to cover more topics like online selling, Ecommerce and marketing.

So while my ultimate goal is to help you expand your presence online, my secondary aim is to share how everyone can make better profits when you have better control in your business.

So, if you are an existing Ebay seller wanting to have more control over your business or if you are just thinking to venture into online business, do download my Sell Online Mastery at the sidebar. It’s totally free. I’m sure you will like it.

Hello…my name is Jolinda. I lost my job, last August, as a full time dental assistant and have not been able to find a job since. I have done the ebay thing and loved doing it, but did not make a whole lot of money, like you. But I do relate to what you had to say about getting burnt out. I am a single mom of two teenage boys and am desperately trying to make ends meet while trying to find a job. 7 years ago I had ovarian cancer, but have overcome that and am now cancer free. My mother had cancer in her lungs and brain 3 years ago….doctors said she was stage 4 and was not much hope, but she is now still with us and cancer free in her lungs….still tumor in her brain but is controlled. Being a stay at home mom has always been a desire and dream of mine that I have never been able to succeed. I came across your site here and am interested in knowing about what you are doing and finding out if I could be involved somehow. Thanks!
