About Me
Apr 14th, 2007
HOla! And welcome to Jennyhow.com, a site about sharing resources for your home e-auctions and home e-business.
I run this informational website to provide free tips on how to sell on eBay and unbiased reviews on several proven resources to assist along the way.
You see, I didn’t intend earn income from eBay. My real ambition after college was to get a good job, climb the corporate ladder and become a successful career woman, one that people will admired and look up for consultations on my field of work *big grin*.
I am not sure if you have encounter situation like this before - you plan so much for everything but in the end seems like life has a better plot for you. This is exactly what happened to me.
A hard slap hit me straight on the face and I fall like a tumbling small stone without a direction for the future anymore. Just one major acoustic neuroma surgery and it changed my life, both physicall and mentally.
It was a sad sad period when I realized I am to have facial paralysis permanently *crying*.
I tried very hard to be optimistic and stand up again. It ain’t easy, I tell ya. It takes a lot of courage and self-detemination to build up the confidence again. And I still lack that self-esteem till now.
That explains why I seems to be hyperactive online, but when I’m off screen, I actually find myself insecure and unease. Please excuse me if you find me unapproachable and wonder why I hang on with the miserable face.
The truth is I’m not sad, but because the face is drooping one sided I looked that way, sometimes even pathetic.
And excuse me, if you are telling me a joke and I seem to be giving you a one sided you-think-your-joke-is-so-funny kind of smile or laugh. I don’t mean that. I hope you can see that my heart is smiling a full sweet genuine smile.
I may not smile, laugh and look pretty like before, but hey, I still have a bunch of loving families and friends. I’m sincerely touch and forever grateful for them. And a boyfriend which touches me so much in this time of turmoils.
This quote makes so much sense to me now
“You don’t love a woman because she is beautiful, but she is beautiful because you love her.” -Anon
Touching, ain’t it?
I know $5k is not a killing, but for someone who’s jobless and need to pay the bills, I’m happy to say it’s working for me.
Selling on eBay has been getting pretty stable and no less interesting everyday. eBaying takes up a lot of my time, but I gradually learnt to enjoy it. I strive to learn something new everyday which is why this blog is started in the first place.
In fact, blogging has opened me to a whole lot of new interesting things like Internet Marketing, Wordpress, writing, page rank, RSS, traffic building, link baiting, Twitter and even Facebook. These information was so overwelming to me in the beginning, and eBay was so much easier!
But I have to admit I’m pretty good at most of them now. Sometimes, I feel I’m such a genius (blush). I know how to twist php, html and css codes, design headers, create eBook covers, write articles, create virtual CD, redesign my wordpress theme, editing videos, recording podcast and sell on eBay. (yeah, as if nobody knows those…)
But, that’s the problem with knowing too much.
You will never seem to be satisfied with other people’s job when it comes to outsourcing. And if not careful, I’d end up doing most of the dirty work myself which left me little to no time to watch Desperate Housewives *nail biting*.
I sell on eBay before I slowly spread my income resources across various method online.
The figures I get from eBay rounds up to quite a pretty sum monthly, so there’s really no complain. I sell there as when I wanted to sometimes now. *batting eyelashes*
Yeah, selling on eBay can be your career if you want to. *batting eyelashes again*
Here are my Paypal sales stats from selling on eBay. Yes, it’s possible and this is just from a single niche!
Nope, I’m not bragging, I just wanna tell you it’s possible.

Hi Jenny,
Everyone has a story to tell and everyone is an unique story. I admire your courage to share about your tragic to others and your journey to recovered from the abrupt accidents. It is not everyone has the courage to do so.
Your experience help me to remember what Joni Eareckson Tada who shared about her experience recently in the trip to Malaysia. She told us in the public meeting on how she recovered from quadriplegic tragic in 1967. I just update my blog about her story, you can get more there.
I like to see more people like you who can stand up and find a new life after the accident.
To brother Philip Chan, thanks for sharing the daily devotion with Jenny. Are you are New Creation Church? I visited the church several times last year in May. How was Ps. Joseph Prince doing? Still like to make humor and jokes during the meeting?
You are a brave girl and finally u found out yr own way to go.
Yr story really motivates many people who are in similar condition to not let go the hope of life.
