Dinner At Dragon-i

Had a dinner gathering with some ex-colleagues tonight. Met at DRAGON-i restaurant in Sunway Pyramid. Located above KFC. Food was awesome. Environment and settings were very good, with red and black theme. Very elegant. Very shanghai feel. Very spacious.

A good place for family dinners or any gatherings. Regret that i didn’t bring my camera along. Forgive me for my lack of blogging experience.

The food and surroundings were so awesome that i couldn’t help googling for dragon-i to get some photos so that i could blog.

While waiting for the rest to arrive, me and a friend ordered the Siu Loong Pao. I have never try this little meat pao before. So, i’m curious to taste it.

The Pao is wrapped with meat and soup. Yes, i could see that it was watery inside. And there’s a little small hole at the top where you are supposed to sip the soup first before biting into the pao. or it will be messy if the soup dribble out all over when you bite into it.

But it taste so good that it keeps me asking for more. But the price is freaking expensive rm8 for 4 little paos.

We also ordered the ham and chicken fried rice which was marked as recommended in the menu.

Very fragrant and aromatic, totally something different from the fried rice we usually have.

Recommended. Recommended.

    Jenny,

I have worked in SHANGHAI for about 3 years.

One of the best food is “Xiao Long Pao” or “Siu Loong Pao”…

If you goes to Shanghai, remember goes to NAN XIANG in YU YUAN garden…
