Here is a new application lauched in beta by eBay called eBay Desktop.

What is it? It is a desktop application where you can control most of your eBay activities like bidding, watching, and searching without having to turn on your web browser.

One of the better feature included is the Favorite Search feed, where you can download items from your favorite searches and browse through them, even when you’re not online!

The objective of the software is to allow storing of searches and bid histories locally on your Desktop, allowing you to quickly locate and navigate between items and listings that you are most interested in.

Where can I run it? The eBay Desktop is built on Adobe AIR technology, which allows for Web-connected applications to run, look and feel more like desktop application, without the browser. eBay Desktop can be installed on Mac OS X 10.4 or higher and Windows XP and Vista.
