Doraemon, yes, the link look suspicious, and the sentence “if you agree with this rank” is funny.

Boon, do they just send to anyone with an email account ah…

Calvin yes, especially when we are involved in those area, scams can make us believe it is true. Example like when we receive a scam email regarding dispute from eBay, we can really panic.

Gallivanter, scammers don’t quit. they are getting smarter and smarter. They change the way they write their emails. They improved everyday.

it is very funny that i didn’t have ebay account and i get the email from ebay say that if i didn’t settle the payment after i won the bid, they will close my account. LOL.

i found that we will get a lot of spam mails from gmail. And a lot of scam mails in my gmail account.

Not only eBay, PayPal, Maybank2u, PublicBank, eGold, IntGold, and many others related to financial services were being used as the phishing method to get the user Identity and passwords.

Always becareful to check the actual link content in every link when you move your mouse over it. It’s better to type the require link instead of clicking on link.

Don’t trust the email sender, it can be look like from a genuine email address.
