4 EASY Short Term Goals For New eBay Sellers

If you are new on eBay, you may concentrate on these 4 easy short term goals to gain better experience selling online:

1. Start by selling items from around your home. It is a crucial experience and a confidence builder. If you are in Phillipine, Singapore or Malaysia, you have a very good advantage as these sites are free to list.

2. Acquire some other items to sell from different sources like your family member, friends, flea markets, mini markets and so on. This helps you develop research skills in locating a good product that you can sell on eBay.

3. Obtain about 50 positive feedbacks and get a blue star. People will start to trust you and bid more. This also gives you Dutch auction and Buy It Now access. Try to keep your feedbacks records clean. As with everything, Rome is not built in a day.

4. Over this period of time, find a niche you have a passion for. Take some time to think this one over. To find a good niche product to sell is not easy, but it is not too difficult either. It is important for you to know the direction that you want to go.

    Hi Jenny:

I finally get your RSS feed on my BlogLines.

Do you have any idea about selling on eBay in the US? It seems to be more difficult for me to sell my stuff on eBay in the US and Canada.

I think there are more competition in the US.

I need to learn more from you. ;-)

    Thanks!

btw, Jenny, do people sell 2nd hand items ( BUT still look NEW) on eBay too? Is that consider cheat if we don’t tell them as 2nd hand?
I got alot clothes that I think i cannot wear anymore but still look new though.

Thanks Andrew. Hope it helps..

I can see BeeLee excited with her bids now

Tommy, try to buy some penny ebooks or exchange feedbacks? But do it with caution and not too frequently.

Hi Terence, eBay.com is more saturated and pack, but there are a lot more traffics. It is a great place to trade, depending on individuals and the product demand.

Jerry, why not? If you haven’t wear them before, you can say it is NEW. If you wear them before and still look brand new, just say “Like New”.

You can explain inside the auctions, when you bought it,and the stuff. You are only cheating if you are hiding something. Be as honest as possible, should not be a problem.
