Pheebay recently reported that the internet domain name, Facebook.me.uk is currently being auction on eBay for £95.00.
Facebook is one of the most popular site at moment on the Internet. Isn’t it surprising that this domain name was available to be registered?
The .me.uk domain extension was envisaged for use by individuals and alike and, in that sense, lends itself well to a Facebook related site.
This domain extension will get indexed just as well by Google and yahoo! as any .com or .co.uk domain. Given the right content it is bound to respond well in Facebook related searches.
At the time of writing the auction has not attracted any bidding. Let’s see how interesting this can get.

I noticed there were no bids for the domain in the end. I don’t think Facebook would have took too kindly to the auction.
Its strange, sometimes the most unusual domains you look for are never there, however the most simple ones usually aren’t taken, I guess people just assume they will be gone or something.
