Firefox have just launched a new add-on feature on their browser called the “Firefox Companion for eBayâ€. I have got it installed into my laptop today!

To browse eBay related activities, just click on the dimmed eBay icon on the toolbar. Click “Connect to eBay†button†and on the right hand side an eBay login page will appear. After logging in, the eBay icon appear bright and colorful.
The panel on the left are divided into two category: Active and Ended listings. The screenshots below will tell you what kind of activities you can monitored with them.

The advantage of using this eBay Companion on your Firefox browser is that you get tighter security for browsing. As quoted in the features page:
“You’re safer with the Firefox Companion. You’ll know you’re on a genuine eBay or Paypal page and not a spoof site or lookalike. When you’re using Firefox you’re also at less risk from pop-up ads, spyware and other web threats.â€
Seems great! To me this is another way to access and monitor my ebay activities. I don’t have to type in the url or locate the bookmark for my eBay page. Now I can just click the eBay button on the toolbar to access all the features that I am using everyday.
