What is A Good Night’s Sleep to you…

With only 24 hours a day and so much to do, we often end up staying until the wee hours. Don’t you feel sluggish the next morning when you sleep too late and then waking up like noon the next day?

Getting 10 hours of sleep when you go to bed at 10pm compared to 3am makes a huge difference when you wake up. Doing the latter makes you feel sluggish while the former makes you feel refreshed. (okay, I’m talking about my own experience literally)

That is for those with the time luxury to cuddle in bed until late. But for those who go sleep at 3am and need to wake up early the next morning for workplace, do you feel lethargic? Imagine doing this for straight 5 years, you would look like a 60 year old sooner than you can imagine. And your life will be in constant slow-motion.

You can sacrifice sleep to gain extra time, but ultimately I think we are just sacrificing our health in the long run and the ability to use our time efficiently the next day again.

Ah, sleep; we need so much of those, yet lacking so much more of it. *yawn*

Reports by Harrison & Horne 1999
Most Americans have been sleepy at their job, and two in five report making errors because of sleepiness. Inadequate sleep reduces innovative thinking by 60% and flexibility in decision making by 39%.

I hope I am not making you sleepy in whatever you are doing now *grin*. I am creating this post to smack myself to be more discipline and go sleep early!

I usually sleep at around 11.45pm-12.15am and woke up at 8am. 8 hours of sleep is more than enough for healthy peeps :D
But I found out that a lot, i really mean “a lot” eBayers start their business hunting at midnight and sleep till late afternoon. I don’t know if midnight is the best hours to do business, or it’s just a personal habits.
But again, almost 90% of eBayers i know, they normally sleep at late midnight.

And the good thing is you can say, hey i’m earning dollars in Malaysia to your friends who go all the way to USA to work to get dollars. ok, ok, just kidding, please don’t be so boastful! :P oh, i can’t believe you are so ‘healthy’. going to bed so early :P

Some people tend to sleep late because night time is can be a good time to work and it is quite productive too. For example, there are GREAT super heroes that usually work at night, e.g, Batman, Buffy the Empire Slayer, etc.

Err, sorry I must be in my dream land now. Got to get back to my Batgirl

Younger ones usually tend to sleep more. A good workout usually is good, for a good sleep. Sometimes when I am unable to sleep, I took DOM, it usually do the trick.
