The Netbook Asus Eeepc 1000H For Home Business
My Compaq laptop is getting pretty old. Not to mention it’s also heavy and big size. There are always 2 big bags that i need to carry if i need to have my laptop with me outside the house – my handbag and my big HP notebook bag.
It was such a mess. Big mess…

…until the Netbook was launched. I imagine i can just chuck this 27cm x 20cm thing into my handbag and i’m off. Yes, i finally bought the Asus Eeepc for this purpose two months ago after comparing it with the HP Mini, Lenova and Dell Mini.
With a white casing and weighing at just 1.49kg it’s really neat. There are ample amount of storage space at 160GB and the sound system is one of the best.
The only two drawbacks i have is that when i bought the netbook, i was told the battery can last up to 6-7 hours. You can fly from New York to London in 7 hours and have your Asus Eeepc on. That’s what their ads say anyway.
Until today, i still can’t figure out how to get that amount of battery lifespan. The max i have is about 5.x hours in power saving mode, lower LCD brightness and camera disabled. (I can’t have my wireless off ok)
And the other is, the screen can be a bit too small. I have to unchecked all my internet browser’s toolbar so that i get a bigger screen when surfing the net.
The small screen doesn’t make much of an impact for presentations. So, if you are doing a lot of presentation, you may want to re-consider using it for this purpose.
Other than these, i’m very happy with the Asus Eeepc 1000H. The 1000H is not on sale anymore because Asus came up with a newer model.
