We’ve come up with 5 health tips for busy home business entrepreneurs that you can use to get back in shape.

1. Schedule time for exercise.

This will contribute to to higher performance at work and can directly influence your future success as a home business entrepreneur.

2. Maintain a balanced diet.
I know, i know, it’s easier to choose fast food or nutrient-lacking snacks when you’re hungry, especially if you’re having a particularly busy day. However, it is important for your health to have a balanced diet. Now, stick to whole foods, lean meats, and vegetables. If you need a snack, have a fruit or a natural juice, please.

3. Don’t Stress!
Stress is something all of us have experienced at some point or another, and in small doses it is beneficial to our productivity because it makes us work harder to achieve goals. However, prolonged stress can have serious detrimental effects of your mind and body. Avoid stress by setting aside time for a walk in the park, meditation, or even yoga classes. Any activity that relaxes you and gets your mind off work should do the trick.

4. Get Your Vitamins & Minerals.
Both vitamins and minerals are vital to maintaining your bodily functions and promoting overall health. If you find it difficult to get your recommended intake through natural sources such as fruits and vegetables, consider supplementing your diet with vitamin and mineral tablets. Take them before lunch and wash them down with a glass of water.

5. Get Your Sleep!
Your body needs between 7-8 hours of quality uninterrupted sleep in order to function properly and keep you alert. If you find it difficult to sleep well at night, try setting your alarm an hour or two later. This will allow you time to recuperate, and may even allow you to accomplish more at work.

So, go on and take a break. You’ll feel much more energized after that. Do you have a particular regimen that you maintain to stay healthy while working from home? Share your comments.
