How To Block A Bidder From Your eBay Auction

Sounds crazy to block away bidders from your eBay auctions? Not really, sometimes, I think it is necessary and I have blocked a few bidders myself. It does not always happen though.
Usually I’ll put bidders in my ‘block’ list when they actually make the transaction difficult, like asking for discounts or bargains everytime auction ended, not in one transaction, but everytime! or when someone fails to pay for a purchase without respond after several warnings.
Blocking bad buyers is not a must, but it helps to smoothen your eBay transactions.
Here’s how to block a bidder / buyer from bidding on your auction:
1. Log into eBay and go to your “My eBay” page.
2. Scroll down the column on the left side of the page, go to My Account, then Preferences.
3. Look under Selling Preferences, then Buyers Requirement, click Edit.
4. In the Buyer Requirements, click on “buyer requirements exemption list.”
5. Scroll down the page, and click on “Add an eBay member to my Blocked Bidder/Buyer List”.
6. Type in the eBay User ID of the bidder you wish to block from your auctions and click the “Submit” button. Make sure you type in the exact user id. Or to ensure you got the right id, just copy the user ID onto your clipboard from the auction they won and then paste it onto the blocked bidder list.
You can block up to 1000 User IDs.
To remove a bidder/buyer from your blocked list, just delete the User ID in the text box and click the Submit button.
