Ever thought of buying a car, online? I’m sure that questions get a little bit weird in such economy situation. But it’s not that all bad. An online friend of my from California just bought his Honda Accord online.

Buying a new car online is much easier than buying a used one though. And you can easily do that online.

Here’s some tips I found from him:

1. Before you check them out online, make sure you have in mind what kind of car you wanted. For example, the Honda Accord. Do have a rough idea what your idea car is about and what you are expecting.

2. Decide what car and options you want. Search for the car keyword on Google, for example “Honda Accord” and you will find some of the sites listed where you can check out the performance, feature, safety and reliability of the car.

3. Check out the car review sites too to give you some hints if you are expecting what you would of the car.

4. Some manufacturer’s web sites allows you to click and choose the colors, trim, interiors or additional special feature so that you can roughly have a look.

5. Check out the pricing and loan calculator. Print out a complete invoice with all options and fees so that you can negotiate with a dealer later.

6. Additionally, visit more dealers physically. Look at the newspapers. Test drives the Honda Accord. Never tell them you have better prices from website

7. If it’s really what you wanted, simply start to negotiate right away. If their price is too high, show them your printout from the web and ask if you can have that kind of prices for the car.

8. Go ahead and buy the Honda Accord online if it’s cheaper from the website.
