CD duplication, copying CDs or burning CD is more popular than ever today, especially among the digital sellers on EBay.

Ever since the sellers are not allowed to sell digital downlaodable products on Ebay, sellers have been using the CD Duplication techniques to post over the ‘items’.

CD duplication is easy for everyone to learn as well. You can use Cd duplication to back up a lot of things, save pictures or sell your products.

These days, millions of people throughout the world copy audio, data, and even video to CDs. Just make sure that you don’t be involve in any kind of illegal duplication.

First to make a copy of a CD, you’ll need a master to copy. That means, a blank disk, a CD-RW drive, and the proper software.

Nowadays, most computers have a CD-RW or DVD-RW drive. If you are really using a very old computer, then you will need to buy an external CD-RW or DVD-RW drive, then install it.

If you have a DVD-RW drive, you’ll be able to copy both CDs and DVDs. There are various rates of copying, for example, 4X being the slowest and up to 48X being the fastest.

If your drive supports 48X, that means you can duplicate a CD in a matter of minutes.

Then, you’ll need is the software to duplicate. Nero is among the most popular, as well  as Sonic Record Now and Easy CD Creator.

There are many different types out there, from those freeware software to those you need to buy.

After you make sure you have everything you need, run the software.

Then, insert your blank CD-R or CD-RW. Locate the CD writing software. You can click the “Start” menu; then click “Programs.” or run this from your desktop if you have a shortcut there.

If you’ve not used the software before or if you’ve forgotten how to use it, you can always use the”Wizard” over the “Manual” option if available.

Select the option for either data or audio. How to choose? If you want to backup or save data files from your computer, select “data,” but if you want to make a copy of one of your listening CDs, choose “audio” or “music.”

Highlight what you want to copy or ‘burn’ and start the CD duplication.

Then, wait while the CD writing software is copying. Try not to do any other thing with your computer while waiting or you might end up with an incomplete burning session or a damaged CD.

Usually you’ll be asked for a name for the CD. Name your Cd and finally, check that all the data or audio files you wanted copied are there. Double click on the files to make sure there are workable and usable in the CD.
