How To Embed YouTube Videos Into Your Auctions
Having videos in your auctions listings can greatly boost your sales. Nowadays, buyers are smarter, they would rather see the real thing in motion compared to still pictures. A video convince the buyers you have the stocks and you know what you are selling.
To put a video into your listings, first you need to find a website to host your videos. There are many services available online that you can use to host your videos as we’ve discussed in the previous post.
Today, we will take a look at posting YouTube videos into your auctions. YouTube is one of the most popular and easiest to use.
1. Create your video. Create your video using a video camera. Practice makes perfect. Make sure you shoot as much detail as possible about your items, showing all the areas, corners, any marks while speaking like you are talking to the buyers face to face.
2. Edit your video. All video cameras come with an editing software. Install the software and move the video in your camera to your hard disk. If you have trouble transferring the video to the PC, do refer to the manuals.
3. Save the video in a format that is compatible with web broadcasting such as AVI, MPEG, Real or Windows Media. You can use Quicktime for this.
4. Upload Your Video to YouTube. Go to www.youtube.com, register for an account and login, go to My Videos.
5. Embed the code. Choose the video you want to embed in your listings. On the right hand side, highlight and copy the embed code. Then, open up your auction template and paste the code to where you want it to show up.
Be sure to check that your video runs properly before listing your auctions.
