How to capture screen
This post is dedicated to Vedis who asked me how I posted the google result onto my blog. I’m just using a very simple method.
To capture any screen, just make sure that is the active screen. Active screen means… well, how do I explain this. I seem to have difficulties coming out with words on how to describe it. Anyway, it should be understood lah, right?
To capture the screen, press [print screen]. Make sure your mouse pointer is not on the way because it will be captured too.
Then open up Paint and press [control-c] like usual to paste it.
Next, click on the select tool in Paint (the first icon on the top right) and select the area you wanted, like this:

After that, press [control-v] to cut the selected area, and open a new Paint file. You do not have to save the last file if you do not want to. (Normally I do not save it)
In the new empty file, paste the area you just cut, press [control-c]. Save it and then upload to your blog. Voila!
Paint only saves the graphics in .bmp though. There are differences in the quality and size of the pictures. Well, you can also use Adobe Photoshop to replace Paint if you want to add more effects to the screen capture or if you want to save it in .gif or .jpg. But i like using Paint, so straightforward and simple, just like me!
I still remember doing this during my IT days where we capture the error screen back for reporting or troubleshooting… ah… memories.
Did you know that small coffee icons in my blog? I use Paint too
Anyway, is this what everybody is doing out there?

you can also do the same in Photoshop to do some editing. (although, Paint loads faster)
Thanx Chino! how about coreldraw?
Any graphic editing programs will do, as long as it allows you to paste the image that u captured on screen. Paint is the “cheapest” method (although u can’t get a JPG from that). Photoshop / Coreldraw works the same except that their costs burn a hole in your pocket but u can do a lot of effects with them. Try using those Open Source programs that are available free on the web and some of them have similar functions as the commercial ones, like Photoshop.
Thanks,Jenny,
But, where is this [print screen] ? I can’t find it.
Thanks ah..

My Review
Paste is [control-v] not [control-c]
[control-c] is for copy.
