Interview: 10 Years Selling On eBay
One of eBay’s earliest entrepreneurs on eBay is Janieruth. Janieruth was registered on 1997, which means she has been an eBay member for 10 years! She runs an antique store on eBay. Her eBay store is so sweet and gorgeous, I find myself wanting to check it out eventhough I am not into antiques.
Business Opportunities Weblog did an interview with Janie Ruth where she share some excellent tips about selling on eBay. Janie mentioned that her secrets of success are lots of research and presevarance. We all know that, but only a handful can persist for 10 years.

The gorgeous colors and store design is so inviting.
Here’s some interesting tips Janie pointed out during the interview which have attributed greatly to her 10 years of success on eBay:
1. never sell an item that you haven’t researched.
2. run a completed item search on eBay for items on the ones you are thinking of listing. That is the best way to determine what key words to put in the title and also to see what worked and didn’t work for other sellers.
3. If an item doesn’t sell the second time, list it, raise the price and stick it into store inventory.
You can read the interview in details here. Enjoy!

10 years to run an e-auction services in an incredible achievement. Well done to Janieruth. Jenny, hope that you will be able to achieve the same or better milestones in e-auction
Wow, 10 years is huge! I just survived my second year on eBay…whew…got a way to go I guess!
I’m not sure about the #3 item though, I have found I usually have to reduce the price.
