Make Money Online: Know Your RISKS or Be Sorry
You heard it before. You keep hearing people telling you working for other people is no fun, you are at risk, you may get fired one day and you will be out of income. So, you swear you’d spell your name L-O-S-E-R if you don’t make money online.
You surf the internet daily to learn how to make money online. Apply just about anything easy, makes you millions (you think) and risk-free. And you can live happily ever after.

How nice if life could be really risk free. The truth is when you attempt to work online, there are also many other risks involved. You may be shut out from an income source occasionally or worst, forever.
I am sure you heard how people get banned from Google, how many people became NAREed in eBay, how many Paypal accounts got frozen daily and the lists never stops.
When you resort to earn money online, you are bounded by some parties’ terms. You are only your own boss in setting up your own timetable and how much you want to earn.

When they decide to stop paying you, there is almost nothing you can do except to wait, fax them a couple of your documents and wait again. It is useless to write them countless time on your frustration, because all you get is auto generated emails that they keep repeating until you feel like banging your head on the wall.
The TRUTH is life involved risks. Prepare to be shocked and greatly disappointed. It is not the end of the world when things happen. Accept the fact: THE ‘BOSS’ STILL RULES.

Here are 10 BIG crucial tips I learnt the hard way. Prepare yourself well to drive the MMO bandwagon to Wealth Island where only rich people lived.
1. Before you simply put a tick and click submit, read the fine print and all terms and conditions no matter how long it is. A lot of people find their personal Paypal account frozen because they never know personal account limits. All they want is not to be bounded by fees. And in the end, it is all in the terms and conditions. So it is your fault your account got banned.
2. Some other time you may just be banned out of the blue. You might not be at fault. They tell you they suspected your account of fraudulent activities and your account are hold from further active transactions until they check Procedure “A to Z†and Procedure “100 to 1â€. If you are lucky it lasted a couple of days. Else you may wait for weeks, months or years.
3. Do not put all your eggs in one basket (I). Spread them out in different resources. If you earn decent money from Google, try to sign up for a few different channels. When Google bans you, you can stick your nose high and say “so what?â€
4. Do not put all your eggs in one basket (II). If you earn a comfortable figure from blogging, try out other avenue like eBay or affiliates marketing. You never know when the whole blogosphere fad ends and you may just say bye-bye to all your hard work.

5. Save your money. Old time tales but it still hold so true. Prepare some savings so that when everything comes to a halt, you can still smile and go on with your life for at least another 2 years, while you build something up again.
6. As soon as you transfer your money to Paypal (or any other foreign channels), withdraw them out to your local bank. It is not real cash until you hold them in your hands. You don’t want to be caught by frozen account all of a sudden and you realized you still have GBP850 in there.
7. Backup your contacts, emails, blogs and graphics. Disaster happens, earthquakes, bombs, hackers snoop your sites, burglar robs your notebooks, hardware fails, viruses, bugs and server crashes. Need I say more?
8. Setup an alternate dial up line so that if ever your broadband connection goes down, you still can crawl online.
9. Most importantly, companies merge, takeover happens, rules will change, policies change, fees increase, commission cut to you decrease, organization change and people change. Accept that this is life. What is good now may be the opposite tomorrow.

10. Last but not least, be prepared to go the extra miles and be different from the 15,800,000 make money online blogs, products or services out there. The internet is so saturated with blogs or goods nowadays. Competitors are mushrooming every minute. Your buyers, readers and advertisers are spoilt with more choices. Logically, your profit or payout may decrease.
Afterall, life is a gamble. You are at risk being knocked down by a car every minute you are on the road, but the probability is low. It is the same with making money online. Know more about each resources, take calculated risks and you MAY be well on your way to building serious wealth online.
Till then, see you tomorrow with “Banned From Making Money Onlineâ€

Excellent list Jenny. Although I’m steering clear of the Make Money Online niche and blogging in the much less competitive garden blog niche, your tips still apply. Thanks.
