I can see that eBay sellers are getting more and more creative nowadays. From a carrot that shapes like Harry Porter scar to selling a cherry fruit by putting up a picture of a sexy lady in our previous posts; let’s see what is interesting in the news today.
Take some trading cards with picture of an NFL superstar. Put them to be chewed by your dog. What do you get? The most valuable trading cards on eBay! This is just what a woman from Missouri did.
At the time I am writing this, the lot of 22 Michael Vick trading cards is already fetching US $6,400.00 with 77 bids.

Missouri women sells Vick cards chewed by her dogs on eBay.
Who is Michael Vick, why is he famous and what has he got to do with dogs? Apparently, Michael was involved in a dog fighting issue and the case is still in court case.
In July 2007, Vick and three other men were charged by federal authorities with felony charges of operating an unlawful six-year long interstate dog fighting at Vick’s 15-acre property in Surry County, Virginia. Vick was accused of financing the operation, directly participating in dog fights and executions, and personally handling thousands of dollars in related gambling activities. Right after the guilty plea, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson ruled that Vick would be sentenced on December 10, and face a maximum of 5 years in prison, a fine of $250,000 and 3 years of supervised release.

As Vick entered his guilty plea to dogfighting charges, the bidding had reached $6,400.
That is why you can see all sorts of Michael Vick items for sale on eBay, mostly dog-chewed trading Vick cards. Michael must have made so many people miserable by funding dog fighting programs and thus sellers decided to now let dogs chew ‘him’, by placing cards with pictures of him on the dog’s mouth.
T-shirts are being sold online with slogans that say “Ignorance Breeds Ignorance. Neuter Mike Vick,” and “ConVICKt” and others that show dogs urinating on footballs and jerseys. A few fans also have released “Free Vick” shirts.

I’m thinking someone fed the cards to dogs and then figured out that he could make money off this pun on Vick’s history with Dog Fighting.
What a profitable coincidence then, David!
