Paypal’s New Homepage In Beta Test
I was signing in to my Paypal account last night when I noticed this new button on top of the paypal page.

So, I click on the link to take a peep at what the new Paypal page have to offer. Up came this page which is like a summary of what the new Paypal homepage would look like:

Preview The New PayPal Homepage. Click “Try Beta Now”.
The new Paypal homepage features 4 major changes:
1. More organized tabs for better navigation
2. A site search on the top right hand corner
3. An FAQ list on the left hand side bar
4. A feedback or email link at the footer of the page
5. Revisions on arrangement of content

I can also see a new tab added named “Product and Services†after logging in. Clicking on it brings me to a new page that are very well organized with information. Now you can easily locate the list of Paypal’s services available.

Having a preview makes us aware of the changes, and that you will know you are not in a spoof page when you see the new design rolled out. The new tabs looks neat on the front page, but I prefer the old version tabs. Maybe just a personal preference, I always like bolder and darker colors.
If you want to view the Paypal beta homepage, just go in to your Paypal and click “Preview The New PayPal Homepage†at the top. If you have any comments, just click “Site Feedback†at the footer of the new page.
But I wonder if there will be any improvement on the response. If I ever send an email to them, do I get a human-like answer or just an auto responder email for the 100th times?
To switch back, just click “Switch Back to Original Paypal†at the top of the homepage. A comment form shows up and you can send your feedback about the new page to Paypal.

I did not even notice it. Check my paypal today, transfer some $ into my checking.
It’s also time for PayPal to come out with a fresher layout design just like your blog,
Seldom use PayPal coz nobody make any donation to my account.
Jamy, you must have been very concentrated on transfering a 6 figure amount that you over look the link to the new Paypal’s page
Kaiwah, yes, i agree that we do need to freshen up as time goes by. What about revamping your blog too?
Did they mention anything about new upgrades on the system such as Malaysians can redraw money locally already? That would be the best upgrade ever, don’t really care much of the design.
Miaka, don’t think that will be very soon.
the latest I heard was eBay is trying very hard to get Malaysians to be accepted in Paypal. But since you know, our country is labeled as fraud country, and alot of programs are not accepting, we’ll just have to cross our fingers.
Ah… at least there’s hope ^_^
BTW, do you know how could we withdraw funds from PayPal if we couldn’t withdraw from local banks? So far the only method I know is to sell Paypal funds to Malaysians.
Hahaha, I just started to experiment with some new features, and you ask me to revamp my blog, huh? May consider that when I’m free. It has been a very busy period for the past few weeks and goign to be for another 2 months. May be after that,
i have falen out form the top comentator liao… so mus leave something to climb back

Hi Miaka, there are some ways, but i am not sure how good there are. The way I am using, i heard it is not applicable anymore.
Kaiwah, LOL experimenting is good. i’m always experimenting things in my blog too. We learnt what works and what not
Boon…
The new interface looks good for me. I shifted to the beta one quite a long time back.
