Vacation: Phuket Thailand, Patong Beach

Sawadee Karp!

Here are some photos to update you on my recent trip to Phuket, Thailand. The trip was awesome!

Fortunately, it didn’t rain when we were there. Weather was nice for beach and pool activities!

The pool really relaxes me!

We stayed at BanThai Phuket Beach Resort. We booked a superior room earlier and was located at the 4th floor. When checking in, we decided to upgrade to a Deluxe Room at about Baht2800 (US$83) extra for two nights.

It is better to stay at the ground floor in Deluxe room, as you have the convenience to jump into the pool right outside your room. Deluxe Pool room comes with personal jacuzzi, but was fully booked.

Deluxe Pool Room.

For some holidays, what I see on the web was so good but was a letdown when arrived. At Ban Thai Phuket, the real scenario is as good as what was seen on the website, which was unusual.

It was early in the morning and the beach was empty!

You just need to cross the street from the resort to the beach. Phuket is definitely a great place to getaway from stressful city life or if you like sunbathing! We also treated ourselves to a one hour Thai foot massage!

More photos can be browsed from my Flickr Photo Album.

During my stay in Phuket, the place is practically jam-packed with tourists.

The One-Two-Go flight which crashed at the Phuket Airport two weeks back and killed 89 people, didn’t seem to deter travelers from visiting this place. More news over here.

I was also wondering about eBay auctions for holiday at Phuket Thailand, so I checked them out. Interestingly, there are many excellent bargains! Bid only starts from AU$0.99! Just place your mouse cursor on the thumbnails below or click on it to know more about the auctions:

The D- Link sets cost RM394. You know lah, things in Cameron Highlands tend to be more expensive. There is transportation fee

Yes, I see, Phuket Island is Asia’s most popular holiday resort and has all the ingredients for a perfect holiday. Great accommodation with some of the finest resort hotels, beautiful beaches, leisure as like diving, game fishing, elephant riding and sailing around Phi Phi and the local islands. Whether you are looking for a quiet corner to enjoy a romantic holiday retreat or an action packed time surrounded by swaying palms, turquoise seas and tropical sunshine, Thailand has it all.
