If you are posting to or from UK, these are the recommended dates from a Royal Mail leaflet. The dates online are a day out, maybe they had a re-think after the last print run.

I’d better get my eBay parcels ready. Christmas seasons are usually busy and these dates look like there will be delays on delivery, during Christmas rush.

Hope there will be no Royal Mail strikes on Christmas.

UK – last posting Royal Mail dates:

14th December – Standard Parcels
17th December – Second Class
20th December – First Class
21st December – Special Delivery with Saturday Guarantee
22nd December – Special Delivery

International Airmail – last Royal Mail posting dates:

Friday 7th December – South & Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Far East (except Japan), Australia and New Zealand
Monday 10th December – USA, Canada, Japan and Eastern Europe
Thursday 13th December – Western Europe

International Surface Mail – last Royal Mail posting dates:

Monday 1st October – All non-European destinations (except US, Canada, Middle East, Far East and South Africa)
Monday 15th October – Middle East and Far East (except Hong Kong and Singapore)
Monday 29th October – USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Africa
Friday 16th November – Eastern Europe, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Malta and Iceland
Friday 30th November – Western Europe
