Singapore Student Sells Worn Unwashed Lingerie Online

Selling worn-and-unwashed thongs, panties and bras online in your blog? Yes, that is what an 18 year old student in Singapore did openly.

Surprisingly (maybe not), these items are a hit and the student known as Pamela was able to finance her study this way.

Selling Worn Unwashed Lingerie Online

Apparently, the student took pictures (without her face) of her wearing the lingerie and post them up on blog with price tags. A pair of unwashed panties costs S$30 while a bra goes for $50. Business has been good for the past month as Pamela had sold four pairs of G-strings and a few pictures of her in thongs.

Selling Worn Unwashed Lingerie Online

In My Opinion…
… I have heard of girls selling worn unwashed undergarment online few years back. It was quite a hit in Yahoo Taiwan & Japan, according to a friend who reads Chinese.

I remembered once 8 years ago, I was trying to sell some panties and thongs online, partnering with a girl friend (mind you, clean new ones). And we often get emails from pervert (?) guys asking if we sell worn and unwashed ones. We ignore these messages, still we find it disturbing. So, in the end, we stopped selling panties altogether.

I am not gonna ask if you would sell worn unwashed ladies’ lingerie online or are you gonna buy them. Still, I’d like to know what you think of cases like this…  Your comments?

Thanks to Ricky Wong for sending in the news.

The UK market has an undergrond movement of “well worn shoe” buyer and sellers.

    Each to their own I suppose…! :???:

As long as there is a demand in the market, there is supply

There is nothing wrong selling worn cloths, including panties, bras, etc .. there is no diff in selling used items, like many of us do.

however, if anyone want to try out this niches, make sure don’t expose your identity.

    That’s interesting but reality.

Even with my sexy lingerie online store, I got few emails asking me if I sell used lingeries.

I think it’s unique niche, but it won’t be as big as buying a new lingerie.

I’m going off tangent by relating this to marketing. :-)

Sometimes what we think is not what will happen in reality and vice versa.

That’s why in the marketing world, it’s important to test, test and test!

Hey, it might seem like something that is disgusting or disturbing but hey, I see it this way: you have a pair or pairs of underwear that you are thinking of throwing out that you can sell for maybe even more than you bought them for – if they can make you a bit of money instead of out to the rubbish tip why not sell them?

That’s crazy it’s insane to think what people will do for money. I don’t think I would ever do anything like that.

I think the “used undergarment” and “well worn shoe” listings take us over to the dark side of eBay. It is against eBay policy to sell “used undergarments.” Here is the policy explained –

    http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/used-clothing.html

You never know why someone is buying used clothing – if it is to save money or to satisfy some kind of fetish. Recently, a listing for a Red Sox player’s used athletic supporter was ended on eBay – it was listed under sports memorabilia, but violated the “used underwear” policy. One thing is for sure, we won’t be seeing any of Britney Spears’ undergarments on eBay – I don’t think she owns any…..

Oh my god. The buyer are definitely perverts.

  14. [...] not sure but buying some used ones in Singapore could help too, [...]

Yeah I think getting a female worn panties is a fantasy for some man it is just how other person put it as pervert, in my opinion that would be better compare going to the spa or pros to get their service.
