Shop With Credit Cards: The eBay MasterCard

ebay credit card mastercard

In June 2007, eBay teamed up with GE Money Bank to offer users a credit card – the eBay Mastercard. I think they are particularly handy to use to purchase things off eBay where you get more buying protection.

eBay is currently holding a promotion with its Mastercard from Nov 15 – Dec 15, where you get 10% off on any of your eBay purchase.

The eBay Mastercard has a zero annual fee and like any other credit cards, they come with reward points for every purchases you make off eBay. You can redeem cool gifts like free shipping and shopping vouchers on eBay.

Some of the more distinctive difference you can find is that the eBay Mastercard integrates automatically with Paypal. You can view your bills and rewards points all inside Paypal, and be an eBay verified member in an instance.

Plus you get to show off your nice eBay ID on the credit card too, which is absolutely optional.

eBay will be responsible on promotional and branding support for the eBay MasterCard, whereas GE Money Bank will be in charge in issuing the credit card, providing billing and credit management and 24/7 customer service.
