I have always been frustrated at the stacks of plastic bags that are piling up on my kitchen. Whenever we visit the local supermarket on weekends, we will be stocking up tons of groceries to last for a month. And we will end up with more plastic bag.
I found an interesting auction today, it is a vintage Tesco plastic bag which ended with a bid of GBP8.00!
The seller claims
THIS BAG HAS BEEN GENTLY USED, A FEW SCRAPES AND A FEW HOLES BUT NOTHING MAJOR. STILL HAS LOADS OF LIFE IN IT.
And the seller was selling this plastic bag on ebay as he desperately needs some funds for a family holiday.
I think I have many more such bags in the kitchen which are fairly new with not even a hole!
Anybody can tell me how vintage this bag that was up for bid?? What year was that plastic bag? Maybe I should save the heaps of supermarket bag I have and sell them on eBay. Those collections of mine are special edition from Malaysia, you know…
Bizarre Auction of the week:

Haha .. I do like the plastic bag’s design although I won’t be bidding for it
I don’t even remember the design of the local supermarket here
I’m hoping that we can have a choice of paper bag here “one fine day”
how about bringing your own shopping bag to the market next time? to be environmental friendly. Remember “I am not a plastic bag”?
I have a ton of supermarket bags as well. Maybe if we combined forces, we would dominate e-bay in this niche.
Wow… I wonder what the value will be when this bag bio-degrades.
