Celebrity Hayden Leslie Panettiere is an American actress, singer, and Grammy Award nominee. Hayden plays the character Claire Bennet on the NBC television program Heroes.

The advertising campaign and slogan for the program known as “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World” has helped make her famous.

“VIP Experience with HAYDEN PANETTIERE Beso Whales Cruz” auctions ended at $9,100. The winner will sure have a whale of time with Hayden as he or she join her on an ocean voyage.

The winner and five guests will spend a morning with Panettiere, 18, on a private whale watching tour off the coast of Santa Barbara, Calif. (They’ll also receive a $1,000 American Express gift card.)

Proceeds will got to the Save the Whales Again! campaign. As Panettiere – who recently won an award for her work with the charity – “You can make a huge difference for these wonderful animals.”
