Jenny How Webkinz is the most popular search keyword in eBay!! If you have taken a look at eBay Pulse in my previous post, you would have came across the word Webkinz.
What the heck is Webkinz? I heard it had sparked a craze early May till now and there is a shortage of Webkinz in store and people are willing to pay four times more from eBay!! It is even in the news!
Webkinz is simply a cuddly plush toy. Every Webkinz wears a tag and there is a secret code that you can only access after purchase. The secret code allows you to enter Webkinz World?, and online place just for kids. Click here to go to Webkinz World.

From my point of view, kids are getting quite addicted with Webkinz because of Webkinz World. Those without that cute cuddly plush toy will definitely plead their folks to buy one for them. You know how left out kids can feel if they do not own the things everybody has. So, I guess that is why there is a shortage and people are searching so hard for it!
I think I know the feeling. Just like me getting so addicted to blogging and eBay.

I wonder how long the Webkinz fad will stay. There are 45 different Webkinz design but I see so much more in eBay. Hey, I like to have a Piggy Webkinz. Pick yours.

Interesting post, but I sure hope my son won’t be addicted to it (if & only if it’s still hot when he gets older), otherwise I’m going to be in trouble ;o)

Oh you can’t believe what it was like here in the states at Easter time trying to find Webkinz. Now me being a soft hearted person actually found about 10. The store clerk begged me not to buy them all (huh?). I bought 5. Gave one to my dd, intending to sell the rest on eBay.
Then her friend had a birthday party, one more gone. A friend’s neighbor’s grandmother died and the grandkids were so sad, 2 more gone.
Then another friend didn’t have any of his own and wanted to play with my dd on the site, so there went that one. I made my money back on 4 of them but no profit. I’m not a good business woman LOL.
wow Connie, thanks for telling us this real affair with Webkinz! You didn’t make much money on the toy because you sold it to close ones. Not because you are not a good business woman. How’s things with Webkinz now, is it still in shortage?
