What Would Most Likely Make You Return To A Certain Shopping Website?
Seems like the people interested to sell online is growing – everyday or so, I sort of bump into one or two old friends in Facebook or the Messenger – which usually asked me about selling online.
Just recently met an old college mate via Yahoo Messenger, who is in Shanghai now, married and doesn’t work. She does patch work on her free time. And would like to find some ways to get ‘rid’ and ‘rich’ with them.
Selling online is something that need to be learnt and mastered, so I can’t be explaining much via the messenger.
And with the interest of selling online growing everyday, consumers doesn’t shop the way they used to compared to few years ago. If you noticed, there are so many more online retailers now and everyone of them working hard to get a piece of the internet traffic. So, I’d say selling online is really an art nowadays – the art of communication, relationship and strategies.
Putting up a website with lots of hypes doesn’t work that well anymore. People are getting smarter aren’t they?
So, if you are an online buyers yourself, What would most likely make you return to a certain shopping website?
According to MediaBuyerPlanner findings in back in March:
- 35 percent of respondents say they’re most likely to return to a shopping website if it makes recommendations on products or services for sale.
- 26 percent say they want “a unique experience each time” they shop.
- 18 percent say they’re more likely to return “if the site solicits their feedback” on its products and services.
- 16 percent say “a welcome when they arrive” at the site is the factor most likely to make them return
- 6 percent say they’re most likely to return “if the site makes them feel part of a community” with other shoppers/site visitors.
